Join us in Silver City Idaho for our get together
at the rustic, historic Idaho Hotel!
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in the Old West? Take a trip to Silver City, Idaho, July 21-23! This 19th Century mining town has never been modernized and you can get a taste of how our pioneer antecedents lived. Well, except for a few things--the Idaho Hotel does have running water and flush toilets. But you better bring your flashlights. Stay in the same rooms as travelers to Idaho Territory did back in the 1860s. It's like spending the weekend in a living museum. And we'll have a blast!
Daria Paxton and her parents, Matt and Brenda, provide award-winning fiddlin', pickin', and singing!Melodrama
We will also have a crazy-bad melodrama. We're hoping Matt's mustache doesn't fall off this year.Auction for the Children's Tumor Foundation
Don't rub your nose or auctioneer Ken Walker might take your bid! Attending authors will bring baskets to be auctioned off. Proceeds go to find a cure for neurofibromatosis. We raised over $300 last year!Booksigning
All attending authors will be signing books in the lobby of the Idaho Hotel on Saturday afternoon.Historic Tours
Chelle Gluch will take you around to some interesting sites in the area and give you the low-down on the history there. Everyone loved her tours last year and she has even more planned for this year!
